I did a portrait of Madame Sarai to celebrate the completion of her Chakra ASMR series!

As another artist with an ADHD wired brain and occasional insomnia, I found asmr youtubes years ago to help chill before bed. I usually listen to them with headphones and my eyes closed- but that’s not easy with Sarai’s content- she has the best eyes (because yeah I am a BIG EYE painter but gurl I didn’t even exaggerate these giant peepers! Gorgeous!). Sarai’s video visuals, makeup, and overall aesthetic in combo with her soothing voice! I highly recommend this series for relaxing and daydreaming before sleep!

Educated at the Savannah College of Art and Design, graduating in 1999 with a BFA in Illustration, Magna Cum Laude. she has shown in several solo and group fine art and low brow gallery exhibitions in Savannah Georgia, Houston Texas, Detroit and Lansing Michigan, Nashville TN, and Phoenix Arizona.

The Oak Street Alley Mural Festival by Murals of Phoenix was amazing! A breezy perfect day for families, mural painting, music, and food! Located in the Oak Street, between 14th and 15th Street, the artsy Coronado neighborhood, the festival had over 37 artists painting panels and enjoying an Arizona spring Sunday. Mural art topics ranged from whimsical florals to mischievous Lisa Simpson and important social topics like guns in schools.
