Peace and Saraity Portrait | Crown Chakra | by Anjeanette
I did a portrait of Madame Sarai to celebrate the completion of her Chakra ASMR series!
As another artist with an ADHD wired brain and occasional insomnia, I found asmr youtubes years ago to help chill before bed. I usually listen to them with headphones and my eyes closed- but that’s not easy with Sarai’s content- she has the best eyes (because yeah I am a BIG EYE painter but gurl I didn’t even exaggerate these giant peepers! Gorgeous!). Sarai’s video visuals, makeup, and overall aesthetic in combo with her soothing voice! I highly recommend this series for relaxing and daydreaming before sleep!

So honored to have been one of the artists selected for Voaygae Phoenix Magazine's The Thought Provokers: Celebrating Artists & Creatives series!
Have a read at my oh so curiously awkward interview ( great questions!) and some of my work at Voyage Phoenix! This was such a neat experience, thank you Robert Williamson for the interview, and Voyage Phoenix for the feature!
Oak Street Alley Mural Festival | Phoenix Coronado Neighborhood & Murals of Phoenix
Thanks to @breeze1phx for hooking the festival up with this mural to celebrate the festival! Thanks to the sponsors for supporting this event!
The Oak Street Alley Mural Festival by Murals of Phoenix was amazing! A breezy perfect day for families, mural painting, music, and food! Located in the Oak Street, between 14th and 15th Street, the artsy Coronado neighborhood, the festival had over 37 artists painting panels and enjoying an Arizona spring Sunday. Mural art topics ranged from whimsical florals to mischievous Lisa Simpson and important social topics like guns in schools.
Big thanks to the sponsors for making this festival possible!!!
Murals of Phoenix, Phoenix Revitalization Corp, Artlink Phoenix, Jobot coffee, The Millet House, Bites Mobi, The Hive....and so many more!
Thank you, Mayor Greg Stanton, for showing your love and support of the arts in Phoenix!
I couldn't possibly fit all the oversized kick assedness of these murals in a tiny blog- please go on an outdoor gallery walk through the Oak Street Alley and enjoy these murals in real life!!

Breakfast Doodles | Phoenix Artist & Illustrator Anjeanette
I was thinking about my complete inability to master Snapchat, and it brought to mind those old mama's saying like "if you keep making those faces your face is gonna get stuck that way permanently!"
"Stuck That Way" 2018, Digital (Photoshop and Kyle Webster brushes)
The kids and I looked it up, totally inaccurate per scientific research. So if filters are the pulling faces of today, don't be scared to get slapped on the back- even if you do the antlers and rainbow puke won't stay there forever!
