Peace and Saraity Portrait | Crown Chakra | by Anjeanette
I did a portrait of Madame Sarai to celebrate the completion of her Chakra ASMR series!
As another artist with an ADHD wired brain and occasional insomnia, I found asmr youtubes years ago to help chill before bed. I usually listen to them with headphones and my eyes closed- but that’s not easy with Sarai’s content- she has the best eyes (because yeah I am a BIG EYE painter but gurl I didn’t even exaggerate these giant peepers! Gorgeous!). Sarai’s video visuals, makeup, and overall aesthetic in combo with her soothing voice! I highly recommend this series for relaxing and daydreaming before sleep!

BLM | Justice for all | Summer 2020
…one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all…
I saw this photo on facebook after completing the painting and thought “she looks so much like Justice!” I do not know the girls name, the photo was taken by a photographer named Sarah Smith Wills.
I wonder if in all the images I saw this week I did see this photo and not remember consciously? The same verse/saying. She even has a red/pink top. I used a different protester for a loose reference but the Justice I painted looks so much like this child!
“3 Then Jesus told them this parable: 4 “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? 5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6 and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’”
Super fun trendy Instagram art challenges! | Summer 2018 | Anjeanette Illustration
I hope no one is quite too tired of the Redraw In Your Style art challenge- because I am in love with it!
What a great way to break out of a box, loosen up, learn how people create, get inspired, and show some art fan love!!!
Search these hashtags on IG for some amazing eye candy. Lots of folks like myself are using the new IGTV (Instagram TV) feature to post longer process videos as well- I do love a painting timelapse! Thank you, everyone, for making such an epic summer of art & painting!
In no particular order- my redraws :)
